About
Hello, I’m Dat. Welcome to my Tango journey.
I took my very first Tango class on April 7th, 2019. At the time, I was a shy and introverted person searching for a way to open up and grow. A conversation with a friend about his dance class experiences sparked my curiosity. Then one day, while listening to "Por una Cabeza", I wondered: Are there dances for this kind of music? A quick YouTube search led me to a captivating performance — which, as I later discovered, was actually a choreographed wedding piece, not true Argentine Tango! Still, it gave me some inspiration. I searched for a Tango school in Moscow, found Tangomagia, and decided to give it a try.
Since then, Tango has been a journey of discovery — not just of steps and technique, but of the incredible expressiveness of the human body and the power of imagination. Even the smallest, most subtle movement within the couple can create deep emotional impact. The richness of Tango music, its culture, and the warmth of its community continue to deepen my connection to the dance every day.
What draws me most to Tango is musicality, connection, and creativity. Tango is something you can grow with for your entire life. Unlike many things that become repetitive once “mastered”, Tango offers infinite depth. I’ve seen dancers in their eighties-nineties still learning, teaching, and creating — and that inspires me deeply.

Along the way, I found joy in sharing the knowledge I’ve gathered. In class and at practicas, I’d often explain things to fellow students — and realized how fulfilling it is to help someone feel a little more connected, a little more free. Teaching makes me feel useful and alive. I dream of building a friendly, creative, and supportive Tango community, where people can grow together and enjoy this dance for a lifetime.
I am deeply grateful to the teachers who have shaped and inspired my path. My heartfelt thanks go to my close teachers at Tangomagia: Sergei Maga and Natasha Korotkaya, Kirill Kuznetsov and Svetlana Tarasova — who guided my first steps and helped form the foundation of my dance.
I’ve also been incredibly lucky to learn from and be inspired by many amazing foreign maestros:
Sebastian Achaval & Roxana Suarez, Carlitos Espinoza & Agustina Piaggio, Marko & Maja, Pablo Rodriguez & Majo Martirena, Sercan & Zeynep, Chicho & Juana, Vanessa Gauch & Esref Tekinalp, Gustavo Naveira & Giselle Anne, Emanuel Ledesma & Olga, Fernando Sanchez & Ariadna Naveira, Federico & Sabrina, Octavio Fernandez & Corina Herrera, Aoniken Quiroga, Noelia Hurtado, Juan Amaya & Valentina Garnier, Rocio Lequio & Bruno Tombari, Gianpiero Galdi & Lorena Tarantino, Lorena Gonzalez & Gaston Camejo and many others. Their passion, creativity, and wisdom have left a lasting mark on my dance and continue to inspire my journey.
I'm excited to keep dancing, to keep learning, and to grow — together with you.
